P.I.C SEMINAR PARTICIPANTS POISED FOR POSITIVE CHANGE
Members of the North-West Regional House of Chiefs and Divisional Representatives have appealed to the Public Independent Conciliator to use his good offices to help them serve the population better.
That was one of several recommendations they adopted at the end of an information and education seminar on the mission and mandate of the P.I.C which the P.I.C organized for them in its Conference Room on Monday 25/07/2022.
The Public Independent Conciliator, Mr. Tamfu Simon Fai had in his opening statement encouraged the participants to freely express their views so that they would find and establish common grounds to work together to better serve the population to whom they are accountable.
Two guests who attended as observers (Senator Nkeze Emilia and Hon. Injoh Foo Ngang Prodentia Awa) turned out to be veritable spokespersons of when the participants applauded their views for the North-West people whose legitimate anger with marginalisation has been established and who should henceforth change the narrative and their mindsets from confrontation to construction.
Through the mouth of Hon. Kibuh Henry, the participants expressed gratitude to the P.I.C for its exemplary services to the people of the North-West Region and prayed for more.
In his closing remarks, the Public Independent Conciliator, Mr. Tamfu Simon Fai described his institution as a gold mine which the people should learn to properly mine. He reassured them of the availability of the Public Independent Conciliator to work with the people using its mandate to together transform the present pitiful situation of the North-West Region to a better and harmonious one envied by the others.
