P-I-C NW GETS FINANCE CONTROLLER
On Wednesday 27/04/2022, Mr. Justus Ashiyi Mbinkar, Senior Inspector of Stores Accounting, was installed into his functions as Specialized Finance Controller attached to the Office of the Public Independent Conciliator for the North-West Region. Appointed by an order of the Minister of Finance dated 30/03/2022, Mr. Mbinkar takes over from Mr.Wirndzerem Gideon Barfee, North-West Regional Controller of Finance, who hitherto acted as Specialized Finance Controller for the new institution.
In an installation speech, the envoy of the Minister of Finance, Budget Inspector at the Control Audit Brigade of the General Directorate of Budget, Mr. Mengnjo Anselm Sahngeh unfolded the profile of Mr. Justus Ashiyi Mbinkar that made him a wonderful choice as Specialized Finance Controller in the new institution that the Office of the P-I-C is. He gave to the new controller the attributes of his power in an envelope that contained state seals and stamps.
To the Secretary General in the North West Governor’s Office, Mr. Viang Mekala who represented the Governor in his capacity as Representative of the State, the appointment and installation of the Specialized Controller of Finance further gives shape to the Special Status of the North West Region. He underscored the resolve of the State to ensure that the concept succeeds.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the Public Independent Conciliator, Mr. Tamfu Simon Fai who was on mission, Research Officer Nelson Ndi warmly welcomed all to the historic event and assured the new official of the collaboration of the staff to ensure that the Office of the P-I-C succeeds in its mission.
