PIC INTENSIFIES EDUCATION AND SENSITASATION

The Public Independent Conciliator for North-West Region has begun an intensive Education and Sensitization Campaign of councils in the region.
The PIC Team led by Research Officer Ndi Nelson Ngayinkfu has been explaining to the councillors how they can work well with the PIC for the interest of their populations.

At each stop, the PIC Team leader Ndi Nelson, expresses the gratitude of the Public Independent Conciliator for the North-West, Mr. Tamfu Simon Fai, for the opportunity given by the councils to interact with them. Then Nina Agingi, Alfred Wuku and Francis Yang would join Ndi Nelson to do presentations on diverse themes covering the mission, mandate, legal framework and functioning of the new institution which among other things, defend and promotes the human rights of users and beneficiaries of council services, as well as promoting good governance.
So far, the PIC Team has been to Njikwa and Batibo councils in Momo Division during their mid-term sessions. This week, they will be at Santa and Bali in Mezam Division.
The campaign generally appreciated by the host councils will continue through November 2022.
